12 years or under

• up to 4 crew aged 12 years and under can sail in the craft, using only the kayak style paddles provided on the day.   Parent / guardian approval is required in writing prior to the event and crew must be able to swim.  All parts of the crew’s body must be inside the craft.

13 - 17 years

• up to 4 crew aged 13 - 17 years and under can sail in the craft, using only the kayak style paddles provided on the day.   Parent / guardian approval is required in writing prior to the event and crew must be able to swim.  All parts of the crew’s body must be inside the craft.  Proof of age may be required.

Men 18 years and over

• up to 4 adult male crew can sail in the craft, using only the kayak style paddles provided on the day. All crew must be able to swim and all parts of the crew’s body must remain inside the craft.

Women 18 years and over

• up to 4 adult female crew can sail in the craft, using only the kayak style paddles provided on the day.   All crew must be able to swim and all parts of the crew’s body must remain inside the craft. 

Family

• restricted to 2 adults over 18 and 2 children under 12 using only the kayak style paddles provided on the day.   All crew must be able to swim and all parts of the crew’s body must remain inside the craft.

Business to Business Challenge

• Open to any small, medium or large business with an ABN.  Up to 4 crew per craft allowed and all must be able to swim.  Kayak style paddles will be provided on the day.  All parts of the crew’s body must remain inside the craft.

Community Groups Challenge  

• Open to not-for-profit groups and schools with an ABN.  Up to 4 crew per craft allowed and all must be able to swim.  Kayak style paddles will be provided on the day.  All parts of the crew’s body must remain inside the craft.

Most Creative Entry

• Judges decision based on creativity, floatability and costumes.
